1- come up with 5 potential topics for comparing and contrast essay.
- try to elaborate on them a little bit and tell why they are interested to you.
2- read ch 16, page 402-416 " documenting research paper "
- get familiar with how to cite resources
3- pick an article from the internet, newspaper or magazine and read it.
- write 1 paragraph summery about it and bring a hard copy of your article to the class of Friday
By the way, the reading that you're going to do, has nothing to do with the comparing and contrast essay. In other words, you can pick any kind of article to write a summery about it..
